Freshness, Storage & Tasting:
Q: How Do I Store My Chocolates?
A: Always store chocolate in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 54 to 61 degree so: never in the fridge. Also avoid temperature shocks; your chocolate might develop a white sheen. This does not affect the taste, but admit it: a dark, shiny and good-looking chocolate bar is far more tempting.
Never store chocolate alongside strong-smelling foodstuffs. Chocolate absorbs odors very easily and this could affect the sublime taste of your favorite treat.
The best temperature to consume chocolate is at 64 to 70 degrees. At this temperature, chocolate remains crunchy, yet is ready to fully release all of its flavors and aromas in your mouth. So always give chocolate the time to acclimatize from its storing temperature to room temperature.
Quality cocoa, dark and milk chocolate have a long shelf life by nature. The cocoa polyphenols naturally present help to protect dark and milk chocolate from oxidation for long periods. They are natural preservatives.
Q: How Long Will My Dorinda's Chocolates Stay Fresh?
A: By the time your order gets to you, the chocolates are less than one week old and at their peak. If you’re able to control yourself and savor them slowly, use the following storage guidelines:
Chocolates; 4 weeks in an airtight container stored at, or just below, room temperature. 67- 72 Refrigeration is not recommended.
Chocolate Bark with nuts; 6 weeks in an airtight container
Granola: 4 Months opened and stored in an airtight container.

A: Serve Dorinda's Chocolates at room temperature. This brings out the full character and bouquet of each chocolate
Ingredients & Allergies:
Q: What Does “% cacao” Mean?
A: This measurement indicates how sweet a chocolate is. Lower percentages mean sweeter chocolate. Technically, “% cacao” refers to the amount, by weight, of cacao bean plus cocoa butter in chocolate. The remaining weight is mostly sugar.
Q: What If I Have A Nut Allergy?
A: Because we use nuts in a few select chocolates, there may be nut traces in all of our chocolates.
